Meet Susan	Raised in Warren County, New Jersey, Susan learned hand crafts from her grandmothter, Louise and mother, Carol. Girl Scouting taught the basic survival and independance skills which have carried through her life. In 1994, Lillian Vail taught her how to hook and her artistic talents had finally found a medium for expression. With degrees in Art and History from U Mass/ Boston, Susan's goal is to raise the recognition of this craft to the level of art by exploring design, materials, and color never forgetting the historical connection. Since 1999, Feller and her partner, Jim Lilly have farmed on property in Hampshire County, West Virginia. The enterprise is named Ruckman Mill Farm after the rural area and the buckwheat mill on their property.
